ZOO

This series of work discuss the equal relationship between human and animal by documenting the caged animals and their abnormal behaviors. I would like to ask people to reflect on the meaning of the zoo and be aware of the compromise and sacrifice by animals and nature sacrificed for human development.
The reason for me to use black and white photo is because I would like to minimize distraction in the picture so that audiences can focus more on the animals’ eyes and emotions. Meanwhile, I wanted to create a dramatic contact in my pictures.
